In Review - June

As I sit here writing this new addition to my In Review series, I can’t help but wonder where the year has gone. Six months have already come and gone! Yikes!

Looking back on June, I’m realizing how calm of a month it was. There wasn’t a lot going on compared to earlier months, which just means this blog post will be short and sweet - but hopefully that calmness leads to a slightly busier month of July in the coming weeks.

With my full-time job, I was sent on a single drone assignment in Lewes this month. This home is a new vacation rental that was listed with us recently at 11 Illinois Avenue off of Cedar Street. It’s a really great location, and was a fun one to capture from the drone. You can see this shots in the carosel above - 11 Illinois is the home with the white star marking it!

Now that I have Fisher, I haven’t been getting out to shoot much, but am hopeful that as he continues to acclimate to his new home that I’ll be able to return to the beach in the mornings with him in tow. Nonetheless, I’m making due and have gotten back to shooting some macro photography in my backyard. Macro photography is a type of photography I really enjoy, as it can take the smallest subjects and portray them in amazing detail. Of the photos I snapped in June, my favorite is this macro below of a honey bee, where you can see even the little hairs on its abdomen.

That’s June in a nutshell! July is in full swing and I can’t wait to see what the coming weeks have in store.

Here’s to the weeks ahead, and the advenures they bring! Until next time!
